El futuro es Negro! El futuro es Negro! El futuro es Negro! El futuro es Negro!
We occupy the streets to create a rupture in the time-space we inhabit. A rupture in the day-to-day of Frankfurt. We Black/Afro-diasporic/African people, bound together by our shared history and shared dreams of a future, have come with an important message: that the future is very Black. We are in the future; our people, cultures, languages, practices are in the future. We remember a future that already was. Join us in this performative procession as we honor, remember and imagine together. (Everyone is welcome)
Kukily, afrofeminist arts collective, is Colleen Ndemeh Fitzgerald, Jasmin Sánchez, Julia Cohen Ribeiro, and Lina Lasso. They work across disciplines and borders of the African diaspora.
